des Tuileries
It is one of the oldest and largest garden in Paris. Originally a private garden for kings who lived in the Palais du Louvre, it was eventually open to the public.
Stroll around to discover the ancient statues on the themes of antiquity (from 1716). Relax on a chair around the Grand Bassin, a large basin surrounded by two-lined orange trees.
Near the Jardin des Tuileries : the small "Arc de Triomphe du Carousel", the Pyramide du Louvre and the Obélisque de Louxor, a few historical landmarks you can’t miss.
