Bois de Boulogne

This park used to be a hunting place for French kings and is now the second-largest park in Paris.

It covers an area of 2090 acres and is now THE place to relax in the western side of Paris.

Within the park, there are several places to visit:
- the Jardin d’Acclimatation : a zoo and amusement park
(métro line 1, station "Sablon")
- the Hippodromes d’Auteuil and Longchamps : horse racing venues (métro line 10, station "Porte d’Auteuil", and bus line 241).

The Bois de Boulogne is full of activities such as boat rowing, pony rides, biking, tennis courts or swimming pool.
