The Arts et Métiers Museum in Paris (Musée des Arts et Métiers) houses an exceptional collection of about 80,000 objects and 15,000 drawings, the precious testimonies of the evolution of scientific progress and technical knowledge.

The inventions presented are split into seven departments:
_Scientific instruments, Materials and Construction
_Communication and Energy
_Mechanics and Transports

Opening times:
Open daily (except Mondays) 10:00am – 6:00pm.
Open until 9:30pm Thursdays.
Closed 1 May and 25 December.

Admission prices:
Full rate: 6.5€.
Concessions: 4.5€ (students and unwaged).

Free admission:
Visitors under the age of 26 residents of the EU, holders of a valid ‘Pass Education’, visitors with disabilities and their carer, unwaged.
